U.S. armed forces veterans want the drone attacks stopped

Drones have become a weapon of choice in the U.S. government's so-called global war against terrorism in foreign countries, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen. Military officials defend using the aircraft to combat enemies and say that every effort is made to limit civilian casualties. Opponents contend the unmanned strikes result in the deaths of countless innocent people, including children. Facts gathered from the ground shows that even when targeted individuals got killed in such attacks, an overwhelming vast majority of the casualty figures came from innocent individuals who seemingly were at or near that place when they were hit, thus, giving credibility to the views of the opponents of the drone attacks.
As noted by many concerned analysts, the drone attacks are having serious unintended consequences: rather than lowering the number of enemies these are simply helping to boost those numbers. At this rate, the drone users will see a mushrooming of their 'terrorists'. That is why, sanity demands that drone attacks be outlawed. It is immoral and illegal by international laws.
I am glad to find out that in recent months, a group of military veterans is taking aim at U.S. drone strikes overseas with graphic TV ads directly asking Air Force pilots to stop flying the unmanned aircraft, calling the operations immoral and illegal. Activists plan to run the anti-drone spots near operation centers throughout the United States. The campaign began last month in the Las Vegas TV market near Creech Air Force Base, which is home to Predator drones.
