Tally of death and destruction of Rohingya in Arakan (Oct. 9-13, 2016)



Here below is a brief tally of Rohingya villages being attacked and Rohingyas killed, arrested and tortured since the army crackdown in Arakan state of Myanmar in the last week. It is by no means a comprehensive tally, as the pogroms continues.
The pictured men shown below are Rohingyas who were tortured recently. Their names are:
(1) Dowllah (18-year-old) son of Abukar Siddik 
(2) Hamind (35-year-old) son of Basamiah 
(3) Hanfuru (25-year-old) son of Nur Ahmed 
(4) Salim (25-year-old) son of Mamad Huson 
(5) Habiullah (45-year-old) son of Abulusson
They were from the Say Tha Ma Gyi village who were asked to report to Pan Lin Pyin military outpost on Oct. 11. Upon arrival, they were then beaten by forces from Battalion 263, led by Lt. Col. Hlaing Min Htet.
