Lynching of minority Muslims in India

As I have noted a few times, in India the life of a non-Brahmin, esp. Muslim is cheaper than that of a cow. Muslims are killed for anything to do with cow, whether they trade or move cattle from one place to another, let alone being suspected of eating beef.

Khudai Khidmatgar, a social Organisation organised a condolence meeting and a candle vigil in front of Gandhi Samadhi, Rajghat, New Delhi, for the brutal killing of 55 year old Muslim man Pehlu Khan, who was transporting cattle. He died after being beaten by a mob of about 200 cow protection vigilantes in Rajasthan, The vigilantes, who are said to be as Gau Rakshaks did this inhuman activity. Similarly in the same week another incident took place in Jharkhand when a Muslim boy Mohammad Shalik, aged 20, was lynched to death for being in love with a Hindu girl in the same town. Similar types of attacks and targets are creating fear among the Muslims, which sadly are increasing day by day.
Khudai Khidmatgar National Leader Faisal Khan said that, the creation of fear among people in the name of religion is not the real mission of protecting the religion, if anyone wants to protect their religion they must really promote the message of peace, love and humanity" only this can protect the religion, attack for COW and LOVE should be stopped or else we believe that people will stop these types of attacks.
Dr. Kush Kumar Singh, Member, Khudai Khidmatgar National Representative Council, said that, I am ashamed of seeing these forms of anti human attacks on muslims by the name of religion, and I am sure that my religion (Hinduism) does not says to harm any one for the religion.
Senior Gandhian and KK Senior Leader Balwant Singh Yaday, during his statement mentioned, we will not allow the violence took place by the name of religion, and whoever doing these are not belongs to any religion, we shall unite together to fight against misuse of religion.
Khudai Khidmatgar Delhi State Co Ordinator Sushil Khanna said that, We (Khudai Khidmatgar) will work hard to tackle these challenges in the society, effectively
Rev. Susai Sebastian, Vicar General, Archdiocese of Delhi, participated in this meeting and conveys his sincere condolences against these attacks and extend fullest solidarity and support to fight against injustice, inhuman attacks and all forms of violations in the society.
During this meeting a large number of students from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and representatives of Khudai Khidmatgar unit Co Ordinators participated in large numbers.
