The victim hailed from Kwaindong village, who went for fishing in the stream of nearby Sindong Village. While fishing he was targeted with a set of armed Moghs (Rakhines) whom immediately attacked him after taking his help and reached the shore on the other side.

Immediately after stepping on the safe bank they attacked Kabir with long swords thrice on his shoulder and with sharp spear on his body twice, making him to bleed heavily in the scene. To save himself from further attack he jumped in the middle of the stream, where his screams of drowning were heard by the nearby fisherman in Sabbaidong village.
